I currently have Windows Media Player 10 installed on my computer. I upgraded from version 9 a few weeks ago.

Up until I upgraded, I was able to rip MP3s in any quality. Now having installed Media Player 10 i am unable to rip any CDs in MP3 format, only WMA. I've tried search for codecs etc but I can only find codecs for playing MP3s.

I would like to use Media Player to rip the CDs as it automatically updates the artist/song name etc. Any ideas where i can find the codec or is anyone able to recommened a FREE ripper that will automatically name songs etc?

Thanks!!

iTunes does all this for you and more. As a music organiser, it's a ton better than media player too.
