I'm not sure if this has been answered already or not, but the specific advert that I'm on about is the one that starts with a couple of seconds of violin music and then launches off into what might be an entirely different song. It also has windsurfers and mountain-bikers in it. I'm just wondering what the song is that's used in that ad, or if it's two seperate songs that have been used then I'd like to find out what both of them are, but the violin one more-so. Ta.

It's all from the same song - "North" by Paul Mounsey from the "Nahoo Too" CD. It's also the same music on the non "extreme sports" "Visit Scotland" advert. The version used on the "calm" advert is a remix for the ad, not sure about the "extreme" ad, but it doesn't sound radically different to me!
