The Malt Shovel

Just been watching Emmerdale and one of the actors mentioned another pub in the village called The Malt Shovel. Where is this other pub? Why do we never see it? Been watching this soap for a number of years and this is the first time I've heard it been mentioned.

I've heard various mentions over the years, mainly from Seth I think, but not sure exactly where it is though.

I have been watching it since it came onto granada, (it was only on Yorkshire TV at first) and nthey have always mentioneD the malt sHOVEL, sETH USED TO SLOPE OFF THERE WHEN HE WAS IN BOTHER.

Exactly the same happens in The Archers. "The Cat and Fiddle" has been talked about for 50 years, but no-one's ever been there.
