I have a motorola razrV3i cameraphone and would like to transfer photo's and a few video clips to my computer. I've attempted several times to install motorola software but, because my computer system is windows '98 SE it fails to load. This happened before with a sony ericsson camera.

Would it now be that I have to remove the sim card and put it in the adapter and then the card reader before I can access the pics?

I have a motorola phone and the manual that came with it states that the supplied phone tools works with Win 98SE.

Have you checked in device manager to see if you have a problem with your USB drivers

No Paul I haven't. I'm not too knowledgable about technical things. I tried to read the manual this evening but with someone watching TV, I can't concentrate, so will do it tomorrow. Thanks anyway, keep watching I may need to ask you again.
The quickest way to transfer files from phone to P.C. is via a Bluetooth dongle which are about 5- 10, You connect the dongle to the usb and you can bluetooth files both ways
Question Author
Thanks. I've done the dongle (but only one way so far) and removed the memory card and used my card reader and that was OK. Problem is, being a bit old and not using the various things on both camer/phone and computer, I tend to forget ah! poor old sod.
