I have used Bioflow Magnetic collars for three dogs over the years, a GSD , a Collie and Greyhound. They help them to get around and get up when they have been lying down and are stiff.

The only downside (if you can call it that) is that you don't notice the slow degeneration (slowly going off their legs) as much as you do without them, and it comes to the stage where they go very suddenly, their legs give way all at once, and you have to call it a day. Still it is better than them suffering during that time.

Look on ebay, they are cheaper than buying from an agent.

Also supplements like Denes Greenleaf, or anything with glucosamine in it will help.

Hi.Lankeela.........i have actually sent for a magnetic collar and bed (for humans,as its bigger),i spent alot of time today looking at loads of sites for magnetic collars etc and also emailing Co's for their feedback.I was amazed at the different types etc.and prices.
I have put Ruby on Glucos/Chondr supps.....750mg Gluc and 600mg Chon, its a tablet with nothing else added.I am going to give her the best chance i can as she is now 11yrs and very wobbly due to her Hd and her disc problem.Thankyou for your reply........i know you respond alot on here as i have seen you comment on many topics.I myself have posted alot on here also and am very aware that lots of people look to this site for valuable advice and it is good we can hopefully help other people in need sometimes.Regards.
My sister also has a magnetic bracelet for her arthritis.

Sounds Ruby is going to have a lovely time in her new bed, she'll be like a new dog.

Still, after all she has given you its a small price to give her a bit of comfort. in her later years.
