Good job I never saw that ... I'd have got the biggest one by the throat and let the rest decide who was more intimidating.
At the weekend I was pushed out the way by 3 middle aged women. Don't think age has much to do with bad manners.

no perhaps you are right, i know a fair few old feelows that would push you out of the way to get the seat on the bus, but i dislike bad manners so much i really dont see the need, please and thank you are such easy words to say and dont cost a thing, plus, if said they make people feel special
I agree with Naz i would have done the same. Seen it happen to an old woman before grabbed the biggest (about 15) and made him appologise
When waiting in a long bus queue, bus arrived and a few teenage boys( age 13-15?) tried to cut the line infront of an elderly lady. I asked 'have you never heard of waiting your turn?' and was met with a barrage of expletives. Little did they know the big 6' 2" guy behind me was my boyfriend, and after he calmly exlained what he would do to them if they so much as looked at me again, they didnt even get on the bus. Hlarious.
I often feel intimidated by groups of youths and I'm still a youngster myself.
It's a pity that these people only respond to the threat of violence and have no concept of common decency and mutual respect.
This has alas been perfectly illustrated by Channel 4 with Celebrity Big Brother. When you do the maths and look at the younger contestants (Jo, Danielle, Jack, Jade and Ian) it's appalling to realise that 80% of them acted in an antisocial manner.
i swear i will be stabbed one day as i refuse to be intiminidated by them. i get a bunch of them standing outside my local shop and they block the entrance. Everytime i ask them politely 'excuse me please' but they dont move so i said 'get out of the sodding way' haha.. sometime i get mouthed at but most of the time they move.

were they chavs by anychance?
this sounds really stupid but its like the adult generation that have let all the teenagers become who they are, the parents.
it does my head in when peolpe ages like 30/40 are complaining about teenagers these days when its there generation that have brought these kids up
