Probs running Unreal Tournament and Call of Duty in XP.

Having probs running Call of Duty, Unreal Tournament GOTY Edition, and Unreal Tournament 2004. Just got latest supa-doopa PC running XP Home and using nVIDIA GeFORCE 6800GT card. All these games just throw me out to desktop after 1-5mins or reboot the PC. Help would be much appreciated.

For Call of Duty you need to patch the game with v1.4 available from official website COD. Probably the same for the other games.

the patches would fix/amend gameplay problems only - v. unlikely this would sort your problems as these games would work out of the box with no patches im assuming as your gfx card is new so are the drivers. in-game settings too high maybe ?
