interested in buying a treadmill

im interested in buying a treadmill (nothing fancy) and i have noticed the cheapest ones appear to be 'non motorised.' how does this work and is it sturdy & good? Thanks

if you are going to buy one get a motorised one ,as the manual ones you have to sort of push along with your leg strengh, absolutely kills you
I've got a non-motorised one it is sturdy and good in some ways, because you are 'powering' it yourself it is set on a slight incline which makes it feel like you are walking uphill so is more physically demanding than a motorised one, well for me it is but then I'm just unfit ;). It is very good for hanging washing on to dry!
