Hey, is there anyway of changing the keys on my laptop. If i want speech marks, I hold shift and press 2 and I get @ . there are other keys that are swapped around as well. Does anyone know how to sort this?

Two things to try:

1. Hold down your Fn key and NumLk (usually F11)

If that doesn't work - change the settings from US to UK in the Control Panel - date, time, region, language.

Make sure the option is English (United Kingdom) not the US version.

This is almost certainly a setting in the Windows control panel.

Go into Control panel and choose Region and Language Options.

On the Languages tab press the Details button.

On the Default input language drop down make sure English (United Kingdon) is the default.

In the Installed Services area at the bottom, if the English (United States) keyboard is listed then DELETE it so only the English (United Kingdom) is left.

Turn the conputer off and on and see if that now works.
