I went on this site but it doesnt tell me anything. All I know is that you have to pay, but I dont understand why, because you parked somewhere illeagely or what? Ive just in Clerkenwell, and have no idea...

It is a zone in central London. If you drive into it you have to pay the charge. It has nothing to do with parking.
