grand theft auto soundtracks?

right, i know rockstar released the soundtrack of san andreas and i think vice city on ps2,
but,
does anybody know whether they did one for the original grand theft auto on ps1 ?? i think the game was released in 96/ 97? (the very first gta)

Not the first one according to Wikipedia (so that may not be 100% fact)

yes they did one for gt2 ps1, you got it free when you bought the london edition of gt2, i had one then, but it was rubbish

ok guys, just trying to find the "joyride" track from gta 1, thats why i ask- that tune is quality- anybody know who sings it- i know its a nobody but just wondering ?

The music tracks from the original GTA will play in a regular cd player. Just throw in the disc, skip the first track (it's data and will just squeal at you) and enjoy. There's also an audio track of the police radio on there too.
