I wouldn't buy anything from any of them. Admittedly I've only seen snippets but to me every one of them sounds like an overrated karaoke singer. Then again I hate the show with a passion so you could say I'm biased.
How can you say that Leona is an over rated Kareoke singer - I hate the program but have had the misfortune to watch it and you can't mistake Leonas Voice as being exceptional as opposed to Ben & Eddie Munster as being reasonable !!
I bought Journey Souths album on the strength of their performances what a waste of money that was!!!!!!! The quality and content are dreadful.............so no i dont think I would purchase any more.

I rate Leona and Ben as being the best on the programme this year but that snot nosed little git Eddie got through and Ben went out I am sure it was a sympathy vote after Eds tears

Lets face it the show is a rip off............second rate acts thats cost the company nothing,3 money greedy mothers who sit there every week and slag each other off (that gets the ratings up) and then people pay good money to vote for these no hopers and probably feel good about it as a SMALL percentage of their call money goes to charity.

What really annoys me is that I am mug enough to sit and watch it along with millions of others Goddddddd i lead a sad life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
X-factor is nothing but a machine, generating money out of stupid people. They make money on selling the TV format, the phone/text voting, the singles, the albums etc. Cowell & Co are laughing all the way to the bank. The 'winner' of the competition gets a recording contract, but is forced to do a load of Westlife-esque covers to hit the granny market - not the opportunity they might expect. The long-haired bloke who got betted out thus week should be grateful - at least he has a chance of pursuing a career where he has some input, and respect.
If ever tempted to buy any musical product from the Xfactor contestants, hold on to your horses for a couple of months and then pick them up for 99p on Amazon ( Steve Brooksteins first album is 49p !)Then sit back and realise what a pile of absolute cack you've wasted your quid on! But rejoice you didnt spend a tenner!
Almcd007, I did say I've only heard snippets of the show, and they really are only tiny snippets, but that's my opinion and I'll stick by it.
From what I've heard of the great Leona, she's just a Whitney/Mariah/Cristina clone, and does the world really need another Whitney/Mariah/Cristina-screechy-waily-putting-too-many-notes-where-they're-not-needed-songstress? I don't think so.
I just thing to form an opinon on just tiny snippets then is wrong. Aren't they all just karaoke singers as none of them have done anything but cover (quite badly) other peoples songs. I think if you listen to 1 minute of any of the finalists you will see that Leona has the best voice - whether she has what it takes to succeed is another thing altogether. Steve Brookstein is obviously the best example that this prog and SImon Cowell and all it stands for is fasle and is a pile of cack.

As for another Whitney/Maria/Christine - I think she has as good a voice as any of those wailers and hopefully she won't go down the too many notes in a line route - but at least she's English and we do need a decent female singer !
im not a fan of the show and i wouldnt buy any of their music because the music on there isnt my kind of music, i dnt think their music would get anywhere without the show,

the people who have won x factor/popstars fall by the wayside, the only acts i can think of that are still around today are girls aloud,G4, will young and liberty x
wheres hearsay, gareth gates, michelle mcmanus,

Other than the fact you guys kinda said it all I will add that Leona is a wkd singer but she is only a clone of what already exists... and she has no personality at all so doesn't have the whole package as an x-factor star.
Ben is the best this year but has just been voted out so there goes the best option - however he really is only another rod stewart/bryan adams
Ray - nicely nick named eddie munster is stuck in a time frame we all left behind years ago!!!

To sum it all up the whole think is pants and one big money spinner but if you are on the other end of it - what a creation....
everyone knows its fixed and that bird has already won it anyway. as its been said before, total karaoke. people are so gullible to be drawn in to such shyte.
I glad I saw this thread. I cannot bellieve that out of 70000 auditions this was the best dozen or so finalists they could come up with. Even the last three are c**p. I only switched over tand saw the little 'rat pack' guys version of You'll Never Walk Alone and it was awful. I didn't watch the others as i am an avid fan of Strictly Come Dancing. The panel are just embarrassing going overboard they weay they do. As I keep saying to my wife 'no, I would certainly not rush out and buy it;.
