I have been looking in the life and history of Alice Cooper and found out he was in a band called "The Nazz" but they had to re-name as another band already had that name.

Can anyone confirm whether Alice Cooper was also in a band named The Lower Third?

Not sure about that name although The Nazz were originally called the Spiders.

The reason I was looking into Alice cooper is because I need to find a Rock giant that beame famous in the 1970's but before his fame was in 3 bands - the nazz, the lower third and the king bees!!!

Alice Cooper obviously comes up as a link...
