Originally I was going to write about the problem I have concerning my spotty botty, however, whilst in the shower this morn I noticed spots are starting to form on my calves, thigh, hips and now onto my lower stomach. They're the type of spot that never really materialises into a yellow head, they just remain red mounds and look terrible against my white flabby skin.
2 months ago I gave up alcohol and at first thought the odd mound was the toxins leaving my skin but now as they're multiplying I'm starting to wonder if the fact that I wear tights 5 days out of 7 could be the reason.
Has anyone any idea what could be causing them and how to get rid of them or had any past encounters with these lil blighters???

you could try dry body brushing. you can get a dry body brush from the body shop for about a fiver (thats were mine was from but im sure they do them in loads of places like boots etc), before you have a shower brush your body in big strokes in the direction of your heart. this gets rid of loads of dead skin cells, the build up of which could be causing the spots. dry skin brushing is also good for circulation, the dreaded celluilite, and removing toxins from the skin. for spots on your bum try buffy the backside slayer from lush, its like a scrub in a bar, it works wonders.
It sounds like the tights are the problem - try getting tights with a high cotton content (and lower lycra & nylon content) which would help your skin 'breathe' better. It may be also ingrown hairs, so loulou06's advice is definately good.
Lol, sorry I can't add to the brilliant comment's you've already received but I just wanted to say I chuckled out loud over the name of one of the products recommended.

"Buffy the backside slayer.............."

Excellent!!!!
Boo, it truly is a wonder product!!!!
I would just like to add that I tired the 'Buffy' bar from Lush and I was VERY impressed with the results. I would definitely recommend it, Toothfairy!
