Flying with NWA

A group of us are going to Vegas next year. We haven't booked anything yet but have seen some superb deals flying with Northwest Airways (NWA).
I just want to know if anyone has flown with Northwest before and if so what were your experiences.

It is quite a few years since I flew with them (economy) and then not to/from the US. It was no better or worse than your standard airline - I find they are all much of a muchness although each airline is not consistent because they are more aware of competition on some of their routes and therefore try harder on those.

Mr Spudqueen flew with them to Minnesota earlier this year and would NOT recommend them. I think they are in financial trouble and apparently it shows. Mr Spudqueen flies abroad quite a bit in his line of work and I have never known him complain about an airline before, but he did about these.

I flew with them to US in Nov 2003 and found them very good, but have heard recently of their financial problems. If you want more info, go to http://www.airlinequality.com/index.htm
