I would like to view some 'webcam' recordings of meetings but whenever I click to view one I get a red circle with a bar across it - like a 'no entry' sign. I have XP and checked everything the site says I need for viewing - up to date Explorer (6), Windows Media, Real Player, java, javascript, cookies enabled. Can anyone please suggest why that red circle still apears and what else I might try.

I had trouble playing video and got over it by:
open Windows Media Player, Tools, Options, Performance, and check for correct connection speed and also try reducing acceleration speed. Your problem may have nothing to do with this but it's worth a try

Thank you very much caramba. I thought I had posted further information about the problem, but for some reason it does not appear below. Your information about Windows Media Player could come in very useful. As it happens I discovered the problem was - a 'Pop-up' stopper. Perhaps others might find this useful to know.
