Gym's in Nottingham??

Hi, my bro is new to Nottingham and gym is very important to him. He is staying Radford blvd, where is the gym near-ish to him and good priced gym too... The closest one to him costs 65Pounds, and the Virgin active in town has closed down?.. any advice.. is there a descent council gym close by there? or any other one's for him... thanks
