I have a plot of land to the side of my garage that I would like to use as an additional parking space. The plot is approximately 15ft h 30ft w

I have read various ways of DIY; I would use cement, but want to know if anyone has any experience of doing this?

If I decided to get a company in I may go down the route of block paving, but have no idea how much this or a simple cement stand would cost. Any one any ideas?

Hi Herc,

When we did one we had the earth removed about 8" then put hardcore down, then about 3" of gravel over the hardcore it was still fine when we left the property fifteen years later, and the gravel is nicer to look at than concrete or paving, Ray
