Thanks!
I have always wanted to know this one. You can squeeze the tube any way and it still comes out straight.
Just incase you can't wait till tradey's hubby comes back from Spain..........

Remember there's nothing like a sad person. I love you all..
hi girlie flirt this question was posted on wed 02 august by cazzbazz i think its page 167
i think they have a similar system to the dulux stripey emulsion, but i dont know how they do that one either.
A good post girlieflirt. I wanna know too, cause my partner wants the toilet walls painted in stripes. You may be saving me a lot of time. All I have to do now is find a brush which has two little reservoirs on the side.....

I was going to say about "Come Outside" with Auntie Mabel, aka Lynda Baron, but you beat me to it caz1975!! Fantastic children's programme - I've learned loads from it!
firstly i would like to encourage caz1974 and otrere to seek phyciatric help as soon as possible....

secondly: i have a readers digest book called "how is it done" which has loads of questions like these. i will tell you what it says but in super-quick-short version.....

there are 2 methods of getting stripes.
in one of those tall, verticle containers the white and coloured paste get put in seperately and just combine when the paste comes out.
in a traditional tube the coloured paste is in a ring near the tip and when squeezed it goes through tiny holes causing stripes.

good question and i must ask tradey if she gets a lot of free toothpaste? hehe
