Seeing the question on migraines made me wonder what I suffer with. I have what could be described as eye auras. I lose partial sight, looks like I seeing through a watery eye but I dont get anything like a migraine. I occasionally have a headache and if I take a couple of pain killers, the aura soon goes.

Any ideas? I have had this on and off for about 7 years and I find they come on when I am tired or a bit rushed.

It's possible to have painless migraines with only the visual disturbance phase. Whenever I've had the zig-zag lights that grow I've never had pain....unfortunately I do have the painful ones a lot more often when my vision becomes dulled or I can't focus.
