It depends. Are you downloading the same stuff in exactly the same quality and size? In which case, it'll be the same.

If the downloads are of a higher quality (and thus file size) than the youtube videos (quite likely, youtube is low quality), then it'll be better to watch on youtube.

Cheers that makes perfect sense! Think i'll download them so i have them to watch again, maybe go a little easier on youtube! It creates a mirror of the actual file on your computer then? Temporary allbeit
