I'd like to go to Stockholm in March 2007 but need to do it on a very tight budget. Can anyone recommend cheap city centre accomodation for four nights?

"cheap" and "stockholm" don't appear in the same sentence.

having said that, try Buenchico's recommended, "hostelworld" - they do budget hotels as well as hostels.

I think you will be wasting your time to try and do this. The trains around Stockholm are very cheap and extremely reliable so it is no hardship to stay a bit out of town.
