I am going to Bulgaria in august, and wondered what the limitations are for bringing booze and tobacco back...anyone got any ideas where i could find this out? Also - has anyone been to Golden Sands in Bulgaria...if so, what did you think?

The limit is no different to that of any other European country, but why worry? You'll normally get away with bringing back hundreds of ciggies and litres of drink- the customs officers aren't after small-time smugglers - it the drug runners they're after. GOlden Sands is a lovely place- the beach is excellent, but you will be pestered by gypsies and blackmarket money touts
As far as I am aware, Bulgaria is not yet an EU member, thus the limitations are the same as any other non-EUcountry. i.e. the duty free allowance of 200 cigs, 2 litres still wine, 1 litre spirits, 145 other goods.
