Apologies if this has been asked + answered while I was away at the weekend, but has anybody else lost a whole bunch of Freeview channels (all the ITV/C4 ones, apart from E4+1)?

I tried to watch More4 last night and the picture kept going on + off, and when I re-installed they'd all disappeared.

(It may not be a co-incidence that the new Five channels came online yesterday...)

Hello,

I havn't lost any channels - my extra ITV and Channel 4 ones all still work, and Five US and Five Life have been added at channels 35 and 36.

Thanks zip, might be a local (Lincolnshire) transmitter problem then - a friend of mine a few miles away has lost them too. As a slight recompense, I do have the new Fives now.
I would check your Aerial connection as ITV don't sent out a signal as strong as the others. I regularly lose Channels you state and this is the reason why. Hope this helps.

Thanks Ev, but everybody where I work has had the same problem. Apparently they're painting the transmitter or something.
I do believe that they are painting the Belmont transmitter as on a number of occasions we have lost various channels on Analogue but I haven't noticed any missing on Freeview.
