I have a beautiful rose bush , at present it has about 40 full blooms . the actual bush is very gangly , the stems are brown and the leaves are few and far between and generally turning black. The leaves are very weak and fall off easily , BUT as I said , its flowering beautifully . Any ideas why its all turning black ???

Do you live near a costal area? if so it may be salt burning cause by the high winds of late.
It could be Black Spot. I had that once. Well, not me, but my roses! You can buy spray treatment for it. See here for other diseases: http://ia.essortment.com/rosesdiseases_rksn.htm
