Does anyone know whether the restrictions for Canda are the same as the US regarding taking liquids onto the 'plane. Can you buy duty free alcohol and take it on board, I believe this is still restricted to the US.

Hi there. I live in Toronto Canada, and just recently flew back from a vacation in France (paris) on Sept. 25/06, and from there, you are able to take liquids onboard the plane again. Water/alcohol, etc. in your carry-on is fineyes, you are able to take liquids. I'm not sure if London has lifted thier ban, but I think flying into canada is fine to take liquids now from most places abroad

Thanks very much. We are on a cruise out of Quebec and a bottle to start us off will cut a little of the bar bill with their exorbitant charges (plus 15% service charge!) Cheers.
I think US has lifted total ban on liquids now.
Duty frees bought air side were always OK anyway I think. Certainly last month from Schipol they were selling them for US bound flights.
