I'll make this simple. I got a raza v3 mobile phone on contract. The phone stopped working. Phone got sent away to be tested. Phone turns out to have water damage. I know that this is bo%%ocks because its been no where near water? I argue the case, they say no we are not replacing the phone because the warrenty does not cover water damage. and on further investigation water damage means "Any type of moisture traceable on testing" ie sweat, rain steam etc etc. Does anybody know if I have a chance of getting my phone replaced. Cheers. jakesi

welkl considering you've already pled your case and they have refused to replace it i would say your chances are 0 %
Difficult to say, depends who it is you are dealing with. Water damage is always used as a reason whether it is true or not among the major retailers.

If you feel it isn't water damaged, then ask to see the report and the phone so you can see it for yourself and challenge the decision, but if the shop are going to be stubborn with saying you can't have any other option, then you will struggle, even if the law is on your side. Mobile phone shops are rubbish!
I had exactly the same problem 2 yrs ago. Warranty wouldnt pay out, insurance wouldnt pay out. I was left out of pocket thru no faulty of my own.
Get ur new phone insured here:

They pay out for every type of damage and you dont even have to take a 12 month contract. I think these are leaders in the market at the moment. I have had this 2 years and made a claim for dropping my phone into a puddel at glastonbury. They paid out!
