leucocytosis = increased number of leucocytes in the blood

leucocytolysis = destruction of WHITE blood cells
hi counsellor! i googled it to get some links for you as i have no clue but it came up with so much information i didn't know where to start. if noone on here can help type it into google and see if you can find the info you are looking for xXx
Also leucocyte = a white blood corpuscle. there are 3 types

1. granular {polymorphonuclear cells} formed in bone marrow consisting of neutrophils, eosinophils & basophils.

2. lymphocytes {formed in the lymph glands}

3. monocytes L. count {normal}
Raised white blood cell count. Very empirical, any number of causes, depends on the differential count and so much else. May be normal (e.g. after strenuous exercise) or pathological (the list is nearly endless)

Very common. Don't panic yet !

Have you had an infection of some kind. A cold or virus.
