What storms? I think they're a media con. Not a drop here in northern East Riding, but it's nice and cool - had to wear a light jacket today on dog walks.

NOT a con here. Thunder and lightning this afternoon in B&H. Humidity here is still 96% and temperature 23 in my flat now.

There have been several wild fires throughout the country. One here on Studland Heath.

I've had my central heating on for a few hours yesterday - yes - and I had my electric fire on for about two hours tonight.

No I absolutely hate the cold and would welcome the heat any time.

We ended up having a few good periods of rain, but no thunder or lightning or any other exciting stuff. Current temperature is 17...just right.
