Can’t anyone advise me how to get rid of the soft hairs on my chin? I don’t want to have to do anything drastic,or cause them to grow in more - what do any of you ladies suggest please and Thankyou?

I'm not sure how b est to advise you, but I'll tell you what I know.
Hairs around my upper lip tend not to be soft and so I have to hoik them out with tweezers.
Every so often I catch sight of long-ish, soft hairs coming from under my chin (are these the sort of thing you mean?). I've always pulled them out with tweezers too and so far (over 10 years) they have not grown in any darker or stronger.
I suppose you could use a very gentle depilatory cream, but I can't say anything about that. Good luck - they will happen whatever. As I get older mine have become white, which makes them much harder to spot. :)

JML do a facial epilator which deals with peach fuzz. Its battery operated. I have one and find it quite good.

Its about £20 from Asda and other places.
Darcey, I've looked at those. Does it shave or pull out the hair?
Gness - its hard to descibe but it sort of slightly wears the tiny hairs away in the way a nail file does on your nails, it sort of smooths them away if that makes sense.
Thanks, Darcey. I'll look at that again. Used to worry I'd end up looking like my Mum. Beginning to think I might end up looking like my Dad before a shave. ;-)
Ha ha! Gness. A better description might be it lightly sands the hairs away. Looked at your link, that looks a bit brutal to me!!
I dermaplane my face every couple of weeks.

If you go this route, watch a few YouTube tutorials first.
I use an epilator like Darcey, have done for years. It pulls the hairs out by the root and feels like an extremely low shock. The hairs do have to be more than just peeking through for it to work and the skin has to be taut but I wouldn't use anything else.
