Typo lurpak
normal butter - Trewithen from here in Cornwall if you can get it, M&s also sell a Normandy butter that is very good, both in salted and unsalted.
Lidl West Country butter with Cornish sea salt.

Aldi's Nordpak (slightly salted & unsalted)
Yes, it's a bit salty. But nice salty...it's got flavour.
I've heard that Aldi's version of lurpak...Nordpak...is quite good.

OK will try it, I was in coop earlier they had their own for £3

I use olive oil instead of butter. I don't know if it would do for cooking.
Do a websearch. Many supermarkets do their own version of whateverpak. They're going to be similar but not identical, and that needs your own subjective opinion.
