I think left luggage lockers and offices disappeared because the IRA used them to great effect.

The hotel might take them in if you are staying that night.
Travelodge in London wanted me to pay £10 to store my luggage until check-in, the newsagent across the road charged only £6.
Some stations now have left luggage facilities, and Paddington is one. It looks pretty expensive - I 'booked' one suitcase for five hours, £15.
There is a left luggage facility at platform 12, £7.50 for 2 hours rising to £20 for £24 hours.
I would phone the hotel and ask them if you can drop your luggage off early
What hotel are you staying in?

You can often check in earlier than the stated time plus hotels usually have a room for luggage until your room is ready.
As has already been indicated, left luggage facilities at most stations were withdrawn many years ago due to the threat of terrorism. However they still exist at major stations where there are independent companies (rather than rail firms) operating in accordance with security guidelines (which basically means that they must have X-ray scanners, similar to those at airports).

The relevant company at Paddington is the Excess Baggage Company (a.k.a Left-Baggage.co.uk), which operates across Europe, including at Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted airports. Their charges are in line with the high prices that one might expect to pay at major airports too!

As Barry says, they're adjacent to Platform 12 at Paddington, just beyond the loos: https://i.postimg.cc/CKTLq6xp/Paddington-LL.jpg

You can beat the queues by booking online in advance:

Some hotels might allow you leave luggage but they'll probably be going against the advice of the Metropolitan Police if they do so.
The hotel's website lists 'Luggage storage' in its 'Service' column but there's no indication as to whether or not they make a charge for it:

Left luggage has been back for ages at major hubs. Hotels will also provide the service.
I would call the hotel 2070741000
^^^ Put a 0 in front of that number.
