You're welcome. I knew it would be on again sometime soon !

It is scary isn't it smurf .....
It's one of those films, or books, where the scariest part is when you see what is actually going on, dawning on the main character, and their realisation that they have got to deal with it.
Also, in some films, our civilsed aversion to graphic violence is overcome by our willing the hero to actually triumph, and enjoying his success when he does.

When I first saw this film, I didn't know what to expect and was stunned when it turned out the way it did ! Really looking forward to seeing it again ...
Is it horror - or a thriller?
It's horror, Naomi, and a decent film, imho. However, I do think some of our AB friends are easily 'scared':-)
Question Author
I'd describe it as a thriller naomi to be honest.
Thanks. I’ll have a look.

Oo-er! I’ll definitely give it a go. Thanks Ken.
Well I've said before I think it was truly awful rubbish, stunned at the Oscar. Clearly I'm in the minority.

Speaking personally, I was not 'scared' in the slightest, I just enjoyed the mounting sense of weirdness that ratcheted up as the film developed.

I watched it last night with a friend. First time for her, second for me. We both enjoyed it and I'd forgotten a lot of what happened, so really got into it again. Loved his friend who arrived to save him at the end ! Glad I recorded it.
Humph .... thanks for the spoiler, shirl girl. ;o/
