How on earth was this woman ever deemed for to be an MP let alone a cabinet minister?

What a vile sycophant. Her obsession for Johnson is bordering on the deranged. Doesn’t this show just how divided the Tory party are over the whole leadership race and how badly out of touch they are that some in the party want him to still be the PM?

Chris Patten sums her up.

//Isis? How utterly disgusting. Your ignorance knows no bounds, fatticusinch. And you’re calling other people stupid!//

Ah, NOW her arch nemesis chimes in!
But fails to address her idiocy nor the problems she causes. Nothing new.

Yes, ISIS will always be inextricably linked to cartoons and their consequence, sadly, right though they(Hebdo) were to post it.
As I said, it’s all about context. Charlie Hebdo is a satirical commentary and look on political life.
I doubt French politicians would re-tweet their posts though, unlike the moron Dorries.
The cartoon shows a Tory MP being stabbed by another Tory MP, less than a year after a third Tory MP was stabbed to death while doing his job, and it's been retweeted by a fourth Tory MP who is the Culture Secretary!

A very limited few won’t get that Ellipsis, as clearly shown.

You’re 100% right. ND is a pathetic sycophant.
When Liz Truss (for it will be she) announces her cabinet, I'd expect to not see Dorries in it.
Question Author
I’d say that’s a given, she’s an omnishambles and liability.
Not just bizarre but wholly distasteful. She's a moron.
i actually think this is a bit unfair on dorries….

she is utterly stupid and has done or said some very silly things but this isn’t one!

And it’s an photoshopped still from a very old film adaption of a much older play about an ancient assassination… and I think it is quite funny

It does satirise the truth accurately as well… Sunak did indeed betray Johnson
I really don’t see how comparing him to brutus is distasteful… if anything comparing him to Brutus as written by Shakespeare is a bit of a compliment to Sunak! :)
I for one hope that Dorries continues to wage civil war against her fellow tories… she has already admitted very helpfully that the tories had cut back on preparations for a pandemic in the years prior to covid… which is true!
Question Author
Sunak didn’t betray Johnson. His downfall was brought about by someone who has and had whilst in office a propensity for lying and scurrilous behaviour, it was always only ever going to end one way, being caught out by yet another act of dishonesty, simple as that. It was himself.
Blame squarely on his shoulders, nobody else’s.
His past and behaviour caught up with him, it was always going to either be over a lie or adultery, nothing less.

For the opposition she’s the gift that keeps on giving, never knows when to keep her big gob shut and act with a bit of decency and decorum, as befits a cabinet minister, not like some pathetic, ex has-been and former Big Brother contesta……oh wait!
I don’t disagree fatti… Johnson wis a terrible PM who abuses his office… but I don’t think Sunak decided to turn on him out of principal… in fact it seems fairly obvious that he didn’t! He did it out of ambition.
Under what circumstances would you expect a Cabinet Minister to resign these days?

Once upon a time, it was seen as the honourable thing to do ...

No more ambitious than Johnson, who lied whilst in previous posts and stabbed both May and Cameron in the back.
Not sure why Sunak gets so much flak(not that I care) but Javid resigned prior to him AND gave a damning speech in the HoC.
Sunak was second to resign and gave no such damning speech.
Johnson got off lightly on account of that.
Dorries just cannot bear any male who might replace her beau.
Fawning, pathetic creature.

Summed up here perfectly, from 26 minutes to 30.

"No more ambitious than Johnson, who lied whilst in previous posts and stabbed both May and Cameron in the back. "

very true... johnson's fans should remember this.

I still think the image she shared is funny though :)
// Sunak did indeed betray Johnson //

58 other Tory MPs resigned. 148 MPs had earlier said they had no confidence in their own Prime Minister.
It was sheer numbers that forced Johnson to give up, not Sunak resigning.
If Dorries blames Sunak for Johnson’s demise, she is indeed very deluded.
