The Minions movie?
I thought suits, shirts and ties, were considered old fashioned by the youth of today.

Suits are very much 'in' with the youngsters, sandy. Plenty of shops selling suits and snazzy waistcoats including Next, M&S, the oh so trendy Jack & Jones, and online shops.
Some will already have suits for attending church and/or formal family gatherings (such as weddings).

Those who've completed their Year 11 studies might well have suits that were purchased for their school proms. (Given the number of teenagers who need suits for their school proms, there might well now be rental services who're delighted to be able to do some business at other times of the year).

Some might even have suits for appearances at youth courts.

Others will, depending upon their means, buy suits from charity shops, Primark (where a suit only costs £50) or more upmarket stores.
Last suit I bought (right size) was too small when I eventually needed to wear it!
Here are some suits - I haven't looked at them so they may be totally unsuitable for a teen.

A lawsuit?
what do you call a scouser in a suit - "the accused" !
The Black Country Living Museum often has Peaky Blinders nights (it was a film location for the series) and many of the men and youths dress in suits, waistcoats and caps.
