It's on for hours. BBC1. And BBC 2. I think it's too much. I know there are dozens of channels, but they are not too good. What do you think?

I LOVE watching Wimbledon Tennis, makes the summer for me. Loved Djokovic v Kokkinakis yesterday when they gave such a crowd pleaser performance. Happiness all round.
I don't think everything should be shifted for sport .... but it always is. Wall to wall football too at times.

Thanks for all your replies. Very interesting. Someone mentioned football to come. Ugh! Sorry it's quite boring for me, Stuck in the house etc. There's not much on worth watching really.
bobbie, do you have access to BBC iPlayer, All4 and ITV Hub?

You may find something worthwhile there.

I do love looking at your avatar, superb :)
Watching Wimbledon is a must for me, Bobbie22, especially when the guys are playing ... after all I had to "suffer" hours of football earlier this year thanks to OH viewing.
“Yeah, roll on the World Cup”

Absolutely.
Some decent telly at Christmas for a change ;-)

Hi choux. I don't have access to the things you mentioned, but do have access to a film player. Digibox ? I can record programmes also. I just think that the programmes are quite poor. I used to like tennis years ago, but it's on BBC 1 and 2. So there's no break for hours I know lots of people like tennis.
Stuck in the house by yourself can give one quite a reliance of escapism that is a decent tv programme, I understand that, bobbie. I hope you can find something decent for the next 10 days or so.
Just a slight correction from my reply @ 08.57. It was the No3 seed that went out, not No2. That's Nadal.

Not sure but I think Rod Laver is the only player in the history of the game to have done the Grand Slam in the same calender year, twice, in 1962 & 1969. he's the only player to have done it in the open era.
I have no interest in Tennis, but I know that there are going to be things on telly that I don't like but others do..snooker, Love Island, cricket, Top Gear..etc etc, so I don't moan about them (until prompted).
