I am a Muslim traveller who travel around the world and prays five times a day. Often time I cannot find Mosques or prayer hall so I have to pray outside somewhere. But the main challenge is identifying the exact qibla direction. Is there any application available on iPhone or android phone which can give me the exact way or direction? if so which are the best app I can use to find the Qibla direction?

just google qibla compass app - there are several available for both platforms.

How did the Prophet ( PBUH) do it in the desert without mobile phones?
