Earlier I was given a loan of a leaflet for me to give back.

Just wondered I have Canon printer and can take photos - is there a way that if I took a photo of the leaflet I could have emailed it to somebody.

I don’t see any buttons there for scanning - just for copying (the 2 buttons under the read stop button.)

Thus scanning is done via the computer - as has been explained above.

You were certainly looking at them (at 1900) anyway, JJ ;-)

The buttons on your printer can be ignored. It's your computer that you need to be using.

I would advise that you get some spare ink if you don’t already have some.

Every time you turn on the printer it will use a little bit of ink to clean/prime the print heads.

This is why you now have the flashing light, when it was not flashing before.
