Sister generally talking about everything and we were talking about her ex neighbour who takes blood pouches every day.

I haven't a clue what she is talking about as I thought you could only get the blood by transfusion.

The lady in question who does take them (for her age) has the most wonderful stamina and I wouldn't mind a bit of it.

Anybody know what this is - thanks

I've never heard of blood being given to a patient to self-administer at home. If a patient gets blood at home it would usually be a nurse who comes to the house to do the transfusion.
If she is talking about something that she swallows, I think it is unlikely to be actual blood. Maybe a tonic of some kind - many of these (eg Metatone) are blood coloured, and are often known as "blood tonics"
Well the Queen travels with a supply of her own blood - but I would imagine that it has to be kept at a stable temp.
Are you sure you heard your sister correctly?

Of course I heard since she had tried them back herself way back but found them to difficult to drink
If your sister took them - ask her about them?

There are blood builders available that are supposed to increase your iron
jennyjoan; If she used to drink them I suspect they weren't blood. More likely just some tonic with a striking name, like Liver Pills or some such. Maybe someone else here will know more about it.
