They're back, only a day after the saker eggs were removed.

Hi Melv who removed the saker eggs? Did the hobbys push them out? Did the elderly mum eventually give up? I've not been following this year once you said the old eggs wouldn't be viable. Last year was so emotional I didn't think I could go through it again this year!!!

The old eggs were removed by the wardens, I think. She went missing several times, but kept returning. She's an old female and probably won't breed again. The eggs were removed to assist the hobbys to breed and to be humane to the saker.
Web cams have been invaluable tools to see breeding birds in their environment without disturbing them.
Sheffield peregrine blog is worth reading, as they've had trials and tribulations this year.
