What The Heck Does 21⁄2 Tbsp Mean?

I'm making a Hellofresh meal but part of the recipe says to use 21⁄2 TBSP sweet soy glaze sauce. I have measuring spoons but what does 21⁄2 TBSP mean?

I would guess it means 2 and a half tablespoons. Since a tablespoon equals 2 dessertspoons, that's 5 dessertspoonsful.

easier to measure a dessertspoon than half a tablespoon.

I'd prefer the measurements in grams and mills although you'd need kitchen scales for that.

bhg I think measuring spoons are usually in teaspoon and tablespoons. There are 3 teaspoons to a tablespoon - if that helps!

As bednobs says, they will have sent you exactly the amounts you need

I'd forgotten about Hello fresh sending the exact amount...probably because when I used them I always adjusted to my taste, or added stuff.
