I came across this paragraph and would like to know your opinion on it:

"He has a special kind of silence. When you look at his dark eyes, a sense of death overwhelms you. But you enjoy being drowned in this sense of death. Pure masochism."

It's a very unique description. What kind of a person do you think the writer is talking about?

TCL; Well, it's a bit like asking if Johnson is almost honest. I think there is a line between 'square' and 'bent', and 'honest' and 'dishonest'.
I get your point, but why do we bother to have a decent word like 'unique' if we are going to use it to mean 'similar'? If we lose words like unique, we are losing linguistic nuances like what we like need, innit?

TCL; I feel entitled to object to language drift if it results in loss of nuance. Only time will tell - I'm not the boss of your lingo. But I do regret the loss of distinction between 'disinterested' and 'uninterested' and 'diffuse' and 'defuse' (I could go on, but history will forget all our little worries).

Well, I feel quite offended by everyone here. Would you like to comment on the fact that I used a qualifier for the word "offended"?!?
Anyways, I'm not offended by the fact that I've been criticised. The European CEFR level I've achieved in English is C1, which means I'm a proficient user of English. I don't take such criticism at heart.
What I've been offended by is the fact that you've all (except for two of you perhaps) been "distracted" by that damn qualifier that you had no interest in answering my question.
If I were to ask for any criticism related to my English grammar I would've chosen another topic/section.
And yes, our little worries will be forgotten soon. Isn't that logical enough. Of course if I'm even allowed to use the word "enough" at this point!
