Bt Email Problem

I have 2 emails stuck in my inbox and I cant delete or move them to trash
it just pops up a message box with this

You have moved this message while using another device at the same time, please refresh your screen

but I have no other device
how can I get rid of them
I tried logging out and back in again but it is still the same after nearly a week

Did you refresh your screen?
I dont think that it means that you email account has been compromised. It is, or was, a generic message that was generated when BT undated peoples email accounts and had problems. If you click on the refresh icon top left, ( the circular arrow) does it then let you delete the messages?

no refreshing it does nothing at all

should also have said cant open it to read it either ,any action just generates the same pop up message
Can you uninstall and re-install your e-mail?
If you right click on them, what happens, do you get a drop-down menu?

not sure what you mean Danny ,if I log out isn,t that the same thing

there is a drop down menu on right click but I just get the error message if I try anything

Webmail has always been second best to accessing email accounts through a dedicated email client. (When email was invented, there was never any intention that it could be accessed via web browser. There was an expectation that people would use Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express or something similar in order to use it. So webmail is trying to use something that's not really 'right' for the job).

My own instinct in this situation would be to install a proper email client, such as Thunderbird
https://www.thunderbird.net/en-GB/
and configure it to work with your BT account. You should then (hopefully) be able to remove or delete the troublesome emails. (From then on you can choose either to use webmail or Thunderbird to access you account. They'll both work).
