Friday again!

I scraped by with just THREE out of seven on the main quiz this week:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-61654929

I doubt very much that we’ll see any zero scores on the junior quiz this week, as even the most ardent of republicans (like me) should be able to get the Royal question right! THREE out of five for me:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/newsround/51318780

I continued to achieve scores that were unspectacular but (thankfully) not totally pathetic with the Timed Teaser, managing a ‘middling’ FIVE out of ten this week:

It shouldn’t be hard to beat me, I think, but can you?

It usually takes me at least two hours simply to get to sleep, Emmie. (Sometimes lately I've been going to bed at, say, 2am or 3am but I can't actually get to sleep until 8am or 9am. As a result, I hardly ever see much of the day!).

I hope that you can sleep better when you feel that you need it but, if not, just enjoy being an owl instead of a lark ;-)
not sure what to do, had a nice sleep for a few hours then finally awake, i don't like it one little bit. Its not as though i have anything to worry about, so not sure what's keeping me awake.
Not bad today - 5 & 4 respectively

Yes, JJ109, decent scores indeed!
All the threes for me this week! Not so good.
Not good for me either. 2/7 4/5 & 5/10
3. 3. 3. Could do better as my school reports used to state.
3/7 and 4/5 this week
5/7,4/5 then back down to earth with 3/10. This week we are blaming poor scores on the hilarity at work this week looking at an x-ray of a man who decided to place a tv remote control in his rectum which had then to be surgically removed. We are still trying to work out if he had planned to use it again.

Roo and HW4 both score full marks this week! Well, they do if we're awarding marks for consistency anyway!
;-)

Margo is both a 'middling adult' and a 'middling' kid, I see!

Jourdain2 is a near-perfect kid and a decent enough sprinter but not very good with grown-up stuff ;-)

Campbellking must have been suffering from an injury (from too much laughing, perhaps?) in the sprint race but otherwise performed very well. All the best to you and Robbie, CK, from me and the feline threesome. (Schadenfreude sure is wonderful, isn't it?).
