I'm growing Carolina chillies for the first time, they look healthy and lush. But they've started to grow lots of leaves low down on the plant near the soil level. Should I leave them alone or would the plant benefit if I cut them off.
Thanks.

I would take of the stems/leaves near soil level, as if these produce fruit it will lay on the soil and rot.
