Right now, the only persons in the UK who believe that Boris Johnson was not lying to parliament in his statements re partygate must be TTT and Naomi24.

Hymie, Do you lie awake at night worrying about these trivial matters? While we pay our police to investigate partygate & beergate, only 1.3 per cent of rapes and 6 per cent of crimes overall are resulting in a charge. UK cops solve 5 per cent of burglaries. If your house is ransacked by drug addicts, your consolation could be Keir Starmer finally being issued a fixed penalty notice for a carryout curry & that Boris received a fine for having a cake on his birthday!
But if those in high office can’t behave and follow their own rules, what chance the public?
You do know what anarchy is, don’t you?

FatticusInch //But if those in high office can’t behave and follow their own rules, what chance the public?//

If a person in 'high office' commits an offence, do you feel obliged to follow suit?
gness, //Interviewing you would be pretty dull and and very wearing//

You can bet your boots it would be wearing - for you. ;o)

fatti 09:32 Wed, tut! I knew you hadn't been listening, No spin. You hear what you want to hear, so just for you… this from last January.

> Boris Getting Deeper In The Doo-Do

Boris has set out his stall now. His defence is that he didn't have a clue what was going on, literally and metaphorically under him. He was never there, he never read any of the emails, he never saw any of the vomit and detritus, his director of communications communicated nothing to him, the personal secretary kept it secret from him, and he didn't realise that his own birthday party was a party at the time but accepts now that it was. So when he said to parliament that "all the guidance was followed", he thought that was the case.

I wonder how many other totally incorrect responses he gives to questions while being absolutely clueless about the real situation. How often he conveys the image of knowing, when really he knows nothing. Or, alternatively, how many outright lies he tells. I wonder ...

And I wonder how we're supposed to tell the difference, and whether it matters,
Khandro, thanks for confirming that no, you have no idea what anarchy is or how it is precipitated.
Naomi, why would I want to listen to a proven liar?
The majority of country don’t believe a word he says. Mark Harper has integrity and honesty, the Prime Minister is lacking in those attributes.
fatti, //The majority of country don’t believe a word he says.//

Haha! Been doing the rounds with gness?
Not really a fan of James O’Brien but he’s summed it up well here.

Wake up Naomi

we are not allowed to argue back, lest we get suspended for taking your pants down.
As long as you argue within the Site Rules you'll be fine but when you don't, there are consequences.
Oh do give over for goodness sake, Corby. You sound like the class snitch!
James O’Brien, the determined anti-Brexit campaigner. Wake up, fatti.
I was expecting a response from you and you've not let me down.
see what I mean ^^^^ we are no longer allowed to argue!
15:48: that was in response to answers removed above.
What are you on about now?
Good. I don’t like letting people down, Corby.
Yet another thread derailed.
