I, one Cine, type of camera, SS, south, south, same directions. When this was answered previously, a poster thought the definition was 'Iciness, ahead of old ship(the Titanic).

Thank you neveracrossword. I parsed the second half of the clue, as you did. However the first half didn’t seem to make sense. Frankly, it still doesn’t, but
I’ll go with it.

I suspect whoever came up with the first part of this clue might have been thinking of the old ice-breaker ships, which obviously would have iciness ahead of them.
