Hits the highest for 40 years as housholds suffer .
Even higher than the 1990s recession .
Caused by the combination of Brexit and this Tory Govt,,,, as expected,
No doubt Boris and his Cronies will shift the blame onto Putin

Wonder if the E/U Would ever let the UK rejoin,
which looks inevitable. Sort of... United we stand divided the UK may Fall.
Not from what they were saying last week as to the possibility of creating an outer zone on a looser 'arrangement' - bet the Portuguese, Irish, the Scandinavians and even maybe the Neths could consider this model and would it be a model for us to take up?
No DTC, from what I have read (but it would take me ages to find it) it is a 'losers' charter. Freedom would be lost. Having said that - I am fuming that better use has not been made of freedom from EU.

report today from no less a world authority than the UN, warning that the war in Ukraine (QED, Putin) is pushing the world into a food (in)security crisis:-

odd that. the war is having a pronounced effect on the world, except (we're told) in the UK, where the difficulties are being caused generally by Brexit, and by the UK prime minister in particular.

anyone care to explain that anomaly?
Well obviously we've never had it so good.

What next? The white heat of technology as we surge on to the mid 60s? Polio? The workhouse?
Don't worry
Be happy
