IMHO, it is outrageous that the British Prime Minister (Boris Johnson) continues to lie to parliament, making statements that are demonstrable false.

In relation to the Covid debacle and the government’s unlawful policy of discharging untested patients to care homes – at PMQT Boris said ‘The thing that we didn’t know in particular was that Covid could be transmitted asymptomatically in the way it was. That is something I wish we has known more about at the time.’

In early March 2020 it was known (by the UK government) that asymptomatic transmission was occurring.

People seem to want to make excuses for Boris on the basis that everybody lies. There is a difference between lying about things you've done and lying about things you intend to do. If was TTT or Naomi24, I would be livid if Boris did not bestow a Peerage on me for my undying support for such a lying buffoon.
Hymie, your intellect, like that of your cohorts, is capable only of denigrating those who disagree with you. What are your proposed solutions to what you clearly regard as a major problem? You get rid of Boris. What next?
simple one to answer, naomi. Gulliver, Hymie et al. would gift Northern Ireland to the clutches of the Vatican, OberlieutentantgruppenFuehrer von Laydown, Presidente Umbrella & Le Président Moron - and all their respective mafias.
Boris said he would " lie" down in front of the bulldozers if a third runway was built at Heathrow .
What a pity a third runway was never built, Boris likes to "lie.".... at the despatch box or in front of Bulldozers
//Boris said he would " lie" down in front of the bulldozers if a third runway was built at Heathrow .//

That's when he had just been elected MP for Uxbridge (just up the road from Heathrow).

All politicians tell lies (or make pledges that they have no idea whether they will be able to keep them or not). I keep saying this but, despite ample evidence, nobody believes me. The sooner it is accepted, the sooner these threads will stop being raised.

DTCwordfan - I only want to rid the country of the incompetent lying fool, who somehow became Prime Minister.
Hymie, unsurprisingly you’ve ignored my question - and so has your sidekick. No suggestions for what happens once you’re rid of him?

The reason everyone should want to rid this country of Boris is that he is unfit to hold the office of Prime Minister – he demonstrated this, even before becoming Prime Minister.

It does not matter who replaces him, just that are not completely devoid of morals.

As I have posted before – there was a time when, if a government minister was to make a statement in the House of Commons that turned out not to be correct, protocol demanded that the minister correct the statement (in the House of Commons).

Boris Johnson and this Tory government have such a distain for the truth that this protocol has been shredded and consigned to the history books.
// No suggestions for what happens once you’re rid of him?//
er the Judas Iscariots of the Tory party know:
elect another PM

twas done to Thatcher ( too long ago for anyone on AB to remember) and before that ( Mac)
People seem to want to make excuses for Boris on the basis that everybody lies.

There is a difference between lying about things you've done and lying about things you intend to do. Boris has lied about things he's done.

There is a difference between lying to Parliament and lying to an acquaintance. Boris has lied to Parliament.

There is a difference between lying as PM and lying as somebody else. Boris has lied as PM.

Boris is an inveterate liar. He should resign, most people in his place would have by now, but he won't. His fellow Tory MPs should fire him, but they won't, because the majority of them have lost the moral and ethical principles they need to fire him.

If he was to be gone, who should replace him? Literally any other Tory MP that they elected as Leader in his place. That would be fine. That's as it should be. Having an inveterate liar as PM, lying to Parliament about the things that they've done, is not as it should be.

Well (for the young ones) Macmillian resigned over the Profumo scandal; although Thatcher was knifed in the back by the Tories – John Major was her replacement, and went on to win the next election, before sleaze in his government handed the election to Tony Blair.
Hymie, //It does not matter who replaces him, just that are not completely devoid of morals.//

So when all the while your OP exposes you, a self- proclaimed champion of moral righteousness, as less than honest, you would be prepared to throw the country under a directionless bus in order to wreak revenge on a man who has, in the most difficult of times, proven himself a leader - a quality I have to say I don't see in any potential replacement. Fortunately, despite all your hot air and grand-standing, I don’t believe you're about to get your wish. Happy days.
just imagine if Abacus and Cobstello had won in 2019. The PM has done a wonderful job through multiple crises, shame our 5Cers can't acknowledge that.
