Street Party Invite

I got an invite to a street party in my cul-de-sac on 5th June. Not sure what to make. Was thinking of a potato salad with lemon and olive oil dressing and chopped coriander but I need more ideas.....so over to you...?

Coronation chicken (retro) salads. Best to coordinate with others to see what they're doing so that there's a good variety

You could attempt Jubilee trifle :-))

Vol au vents,
Pasta or rice salad
A lovely tomato, basil and mozzarella salad
Quiche

Haven't got the energy or the patience to make the trifle, Margo. I could make a chocolate cake or Victoria sponge but the invite said that desserts and cakes were already covered.

I’d do finger food so no spoons or cutlery are involved.
Sandwiches, small sausage rolls, small cooked sausages in sticky sauce, quiche cut into small slices, veg sticks like carrot, cucumber, celery, red peppers, small chunks of different cheeses on cocktail sticks. Things like that.

Talking of veg sticks or crudités, I could make some hummus. Got 2 jars of chickpeas in the cupboard but need some tahini and garlic.
